Unlike earlier versions of the app, you’re now able to do a few new things, like start group chats and add documents, but if you’re used to the mobile app, you might find WhatsApp Web a little limited. If you allow WhatsApp to access the camera, you’ll also be able to take pictures in the chat via the webcam. You’ll also be able to share photos and documents stored on your computer to the chat. To chat with a specific contact, just click on their name and you’ll be able to write to them as normal, including all your usual emojis and stickers. There’s no WhatsApp Web login - as soon as you scan, you’re in. Have a conversation on your phone and you’ll see it appear in the WhatsApp Web interface, and vice versa. WhatsApp syncs with the phone with what’s going on on the web, so it’s best to use WiFi and keep an eye on your battery. As soon as the interface opens (after doing the WhatsApp web scan), you’ll see that it’s just your usual WhatsApp account exactly as it is on the phone.
